Abdallah Rashad was born in 1968 in Taifa, Saudi Arabia.

He received his baccalaureate and pursued his studies at the School of Fine Arts. His fame, which occurred by chance, was quite sudden. Following the absence of an artist planned for an evening performance, the young singer and lute player Abdallah Rashad, was asked to go on stage to replace him.

He was immediately acclaimed by the crowd. The journalists who were present praised him and his career was started. A new star was born in Saudi Arabia and the Arab world. His first album entitled "Ibtadina” was a collaboration with great composers and lyricists. It was a success. Several albums followed such as "El Maassab El Ahmar", "Jalassat Sawt El Khalij", "Mahlak Ya El Ghali" and many others!

His attachement to the Saudi traditional music is clearly reflected in his works. To quote some of his songs: "Allayl Abou Assrar", "Oustad Ashk", "Tadour El Ard"... Abdallah Rashad lives in Jeddah and is often invited to festivals and private parties. His discography consists of several albums.
