Asalah Nasri is a Syrian singer born on May 15 in 1969, at Damascus.

Asalah was raised in an artistic environment, and found a great support from her father Mustapha Nasri. She learned Music in his school and he helped her to refine her talent. As a child she sang for the mother, the childhood, and the motherland. She also performed the theme song “Qessas Al Shooub” of the cartoon show “Hekayat Alamiyah”.

Asalah’s professional career started in 1993 with her album "Law Terafoh". The album was an instant hit with heartbreaking songs like "Ya Sabra Yana" and "Samehtak". Other successful albums followed such as "Albi Bi Yertah Lak" in 1998, "Ya Magnon" in 1999, "Yamin Allah" in 2000, and "Etef Habiby" in 2001. Endowed with an unusual stage presence, an exceptional voice, and an amazing talent, Asalah acquired a huge public.

With each album release, she managed to surpass her previous achievements. Throughout her career, she has become one of the brightest stars in the Arab music sphere. She has performed in many music festivals such as Jarash, and Carthage. She received several awards for her special talent and great voice. Her last album is "Kanoun kifek" released in 2010.
