The Rai in all its splendor

Cheb Zahouani, whose real name Mohamed Cherchab is an Algerian singer born in 20 May 1960 in Bel Abbas, in the region of Tlemcen. He began his career as an accordionist with Khaled. He recorded his first album in 1982, "Ya Mra”. He quickly became indispensable in the mid 80s, when he sings a duet with Chaba Zahouania such hits as « Ya Zint'Smya» and "Mahhani Mahhani”, registered under the famous label Disco Maghreb.
