Haitham yousif is an Iraqi artist born in Baghdad, on November 29,1969.

Since he was a child, he has shown a great passion for music. At an early age, he started singing. In 1983, he began his official career with the song ‘Ya Abu Alforsan’, which he sang with his first group ‘Ahbab Alkaed’. Later on, he joined the Central Music Group of Baghdad.

He recorded a first single ‘Ma Asalhak’, in 1989 and he performed it on the national TV. His first album ‘Ya Nass Erhamou Behali’ was released in 1992. Throughout his career, he recorded over one hundred songs, including about 19 patriotic songs. He also collaborated with many composers and lyricists and shot video clips for some of his songs.

Haitham was nominated as the best Iraqi singer in a show made by Youth TV channel of Iraq. His song ‘Ya Nass Erhamou Behali’ was chosen as the best song of the year 1994. He got the nickname the “Prince of love songs” following its success. He currently resides in Amman, Jordan, performs for Arab communities throughout the world, and is still considered as one of the best romantic Iraqi singers.
