Born in Casablanca, Morocco, in 22th of November 1981, Hoda Saad is a morrocan singer and composer.

Born inside an artistic family who supports her desire to make a musical career, Houda pushes the door of the musical conservatory at the age of 12. Her voice and nice good looking got her quickly noticed, as she participated in 1988 to the musical reality TV show « Noujoum Al Ghad » on 2M Channel, where she got ranked third. Willing to diversify her talent, Hoda pursued her academic training in Switzerland and went to Geneva to join the Higher Institute of Music where she learned basics of Western music.

But it is as a Moroccan singer that Hoda Saad sees herself promoting musical heritage and dialects of her country trough her art in the arab world. Her participation in 2008 to a second musical competition (X factor Liban) is a failure as she got eliminated early, whatever she attracted the favors of musical channel « Rotana » and its president Salim El Hindi. Rotana got her as one of its muses and produced in 2009 her first single as well as her album « Irtaht ».

Her album Irtaht is credited with original songs which texts and music were composed by Houda herself, and on which the main song « Matfekernich » is performed in her native language, Darija. This first album, and its title « matfekernich » which theme is particularly difficult (Abused and violented women), earned her a big success, and Houda, driven by the effective promotion of Rotana, has performed on stages and Tv’s of middle eastern countries, like Egypt, Lebanon, and the UAE.

Right now she’s having two duos, “Habibi Ala Bali” with Iraqi singer Maged El Mohandes and “Wow bladi” with theMoroccan band Azzar, which is specifically designed to conquer the Moroccan public, and also a new album in the works, still with her producer Rotana. She also collaborated on albums of other artists, like Asmae LamnawerGoucha and Leila that will be aired soon. There is no doubt that the young Moroccan Star Hoda Saad is on the rise.
