Mohamed Hamaki is an Egyptian singer Born on November 4th, 1975 in Cairo. His professional career began in 2003, with the release of his album ‘Khaleena N’eesh’. The album featured 10 songs, all of them arranged by the famous composer Tarek Madkour. The latter is said to have the credit of discovering Mohamed Hamaki and introducing him to the public.

Two years later, he released a hit single entitled ‘Yanta Yana’, and shot a video clip for it. He decided to break the collaboration with Tarek Madkour, as the latter is always busy making songs for other artists. He also decided to continue the collaboration with Delta Sound productions, managed by Nassif Kausman.

In 2006, he finally released his second album ‘Kheles Al Kalam’. The album was a great success, awarded with the Platinum CD award and the Bestselling Artist of the Year in the Middle East award. His friend, Hatem Abdulaziz, played a leading role in the production of the album. Later on, Hamaki released other successful singles ‘Wahda Wahda’, and ‘Ahla Haga Fiki’. He also shot music videos for them. The first was shot with the participation of the famous actor Ahmed Helmi, as a sound track for the movie‘Ga ‘alataany Mogreman’. The second was filmed with the rapper Perry in Dubai.

In 2008, he released two singles ‘Bahebbek kol Youm Aktar’ and ‘Naweeha’. His last song ‘Haja Mouch Tabeeya’, was released in 2010.

Mohamed Hamaki is considered as one of the best young artists on the present artistic Arab scene.
