Nour Mehanna is a Syrian singer, composer, producer, and a prominent figure in the music making industry.

He was born in the 1950's, at the province of Aleppo in the mid-twentieth century. He started his musical career as a reciter of the Qur'an, before switching to secular music. In the beginning of his career, Nour was famous for his folkloric style, and also for performing the ‘Koudoud’ which is a special traditional musical style in Aleppo.

Nour Mehanna became famous, when he re-performed the hit single ‘Wahashteni’, originally sung by the Egyptian diva ‘Souad Mohamed’. His performance introduced him to the artistic scene as a very talented artist. His very first hits were out to the public following his collaboration with Melhem Barakat.

The two singles ‘Wala Marra Kenna Sawa’ and ‘Ana Eini Lik’were very successful. Throughout his career, Nour Mehanna kept his own style and identity of celebration artist. He sang ‘Marr El Zaman’,’Ya Msahharrni’, ‘Wahashteni’, ‘Rak El Zaman’. Nour released his two albums under the Rotana label ‘Hakam El Hawa’in 2008, and ‘Ahoun Alik’in 2010.

The last Album contained 7 songs, two in Lebanese accent and five in Egyptian Arabic. Nour performed successfully in many music festivals such as Carthage Festival where 10 thousands spectators attended his concert. Currently, he is the general manager and director of “Gabandh arts productions and distribution”.
