Omar Al Abdellat is a Jordanian singer. He was born in the northern city of "Salat", East of Amman. At a very young age, he started to sing in weddings and engagements, encouraged by the fact that he is also an "Oud" player.

Omar used to make covers of Gulf musical folklore and traditional songs. But his real start was with the patriotic song "Hachimi Ya Hachimi". Indeed, the song knew a huge success. It also drew positive criticisms from the audience as well as the artistic critics.

In a very short time, he joined the group "Maanin", which was one of the famous pop groups at the time. Soon, he became a lead singer in the group. In the same period, Omar released the remarkable hit "Ya saad", which gave him a huge success and is still performed now in most wedding ceremonies and celebrations through the Arab world.

Later on, Omar founded his own group, and released many titles about love, Jesrusalem, the country and the king. His most famous singles are "Hachimi Ya Hachimi", "Jayshna", "Habbouba", and "Tlat Ghizlan". Omar was rewarded many times and awarded the medal of cultural and art merit by the late King Hussein and also the Actual king Abdullah.
